As I was on business, I should have booked a hotel with room service and refrigerator.

Dinner at the Pub was excellent, best part of the stay.

Only one three prong plug in the room being used for a wall heater, no plug points for charging laptop and mobile phones.

Very good, great food, great service and a good night sleep.

The room was good could just do with a little modernisation. The food/restaurant was amazing. Staff were all very friendly and the location is great very quiet even though it’s near a busy road. Was a great stay.

The room was good but could tell it hadn’t been renovated in quite some time. Apart from that there was nothing else I could fault everything worked in the room was just a bit dated.

Nice place and local to us

The room and facilities were excellent

I thought the breakfast portions were very small. My wife had a sausage sandwich which came on a small muffin. I had poached egg on toast which was 2 small, overcooked eggs, on two pieces on soft toast. If we had the full breakfasts this may have been better.

Great place to stay. Near to Garstang. Food is one of the best selling points.

Rooms were as expected. We have stayed here on numerous occasions. Food was amazing!!

The building and outside areas at the back are looking very tired and in need of a paint to spruce it up.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by this eclectic resort.

The room was a decent size. The facilities are very interesting and unlike anywhere I've stayed before. It's like its own resort and the architecture is quaint. Feels like travelling back in time to an old fashioned resort. The resort was better than I expected.

The stay for one night was good value for money. Next time would pick a room further at the back.

Room was nice and spacious. Bathroom good.

Very much enjoyed the visit.

Excellent dinner and facilities. Lovely ambience. Impressed with the quality of the food such as the homemade pain au raisin! The best ever! Enjoyed watching the train in the restaurant. Lovely touch!

comfortable, good food, great bar, a bit kitsch

nice staff, good cheap bar, great food. Room was comfy if slightly dated. We wend whilst there was a half term ice rink event on and it was a bit like staying in a fairground, lots of excited kids etc, but this did not spoil our visit. However if you like it peaceful you may need to avoid visiting during an event

It was a bit dated, not horrible or dirty but some areas could use a freshen up. Also a bit kitsch and theme park like. Still the food was good and the bar was fairly priced and cosy

On the whole a relaxing break away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.

Great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings with a lovely walk along the cannal. Room was comfortable with everything you need.

Was quite noisy when people started up their jacuzzi bath at 11:30pm & 3:00am. Maybe worth having a time restriction in the evenings/early mornings when people are trying to sleep.
